Escentric Molecules

Escentric Molecules 01 series
The 01 series celebrates just one of the scented world’s most used base notes—the sheer, velvety sandalwood-like Iso E Super—and by doing so, puts forth a radically different proposition: building two scents around a single aroma chemical normally just used in small concentrations.  It’s never been done before. Escentric Molecules is the product of perfumer Geza Schoen (who’s designed fragrances for Clive Christian and many others).

Escentric Molecules 02 series
The 02 series share the same relationship as their predecessors, but this time the molecule is ambroxan, a nature-identical aroma chemical of the prized (and forbidden) ambergris. Ambroxan can best be described as a fresh, almost mineral smoothness which subtly expands to envelop you.

Escentric Molecules 03 series
The launch of the third pair of scents from Escentric Molecules takes the runaway success story of the niche fragrance world back to its roots – literally. The aroma-chemical this time is vetiveryle acetate, a refined vetiver note which is celebrated for its earthy-smokey facets.

Escentric Molecules 04 series The genius behind Escentric Molecules’ formula of perfect simplicity is just how well they select their featured ingredients, and for the 04 series, perfumer Geza Schoen selected Javanol, a cutting-edge synthetic with sandalwood qualities. But unlike the velvety sandalwood of Molecule 01’s ISO-E Super, Javanol is intriguingly crisp, with a lively, almost psychedelic freshness beneath the smooth woodiness.
Escentric Molecules 05 series Cashmeran, the molecule at the heart of the 05 series, is dry, radiant, warm and woody with an unexpected touch of pine resin. It's this vibrant quality that caused perfumer Geza Schoen to flash back to the Mediterranean, where he spent his childhood summers.
